In 1810, Madame Clicquot invented the first vintage champagne, in 2012 Veuve Clicquot declared the 66th vintage of the maison. Blessed with an aromatic intensity and Veuve Clicquot’s trademark structure, comes the 66th vintage from this pioneering house, which created the first-known vintage champagne more than 200 years ago. Despite challenging weather, 2012 revealed exceptional fruit. And so this vintage – the unique expression of that single year – was born. Fresh and delicate on the nose, with a lively, balanced palate, it can be enjoyed now or aged for years to come.
